I just bought a new laptop for school and sold my old one to a hispanic co-worker. He doesn't understand english and asked me to set up the OS for spanish so he can use it. I figured it would be easy as pie but found out real quick that it's a little more complicated than i anticipated.

Since i don't have the original installation CD (and since i'm fairly certain there's a method to swap english for spanish without a total re-install) i can't go that route. I read there was an MUI application that works for users using XP Professional and bypasses the need for a complete re-install. Unfortunately, i couldn't really figure all that out just by googling my question without getting a headache. Could someone please help me with this problem. Diskimagemounter Mac.

Thank you, -g.a. Hi 317 – FMRL, You will not be able to install the Spanish version of Windows XP with the installation disc.

There were a different version of Spanish released for the Operating System to be Spanish and unfortunately there is no way change the language of the Operating System by existing CD although that is also not an option for you as you don’t have the disc. However, you will be able to use some of the user interface settings using the changing the regional language settings. These options are available by default.
