Pricey but worth it I haven't had the Tyros long enough yet to try out everything it is capable of but so far I love it. I really like the super articulation voices - they are very realistic and can be varied either by how the key is struck or using the two buttons. It took me a while to get used to the Left and Right 1,2,3 concept but after a little experimentation I was able to use them to best advantage in layering and switching between voices on the fly. Especially useful is the mixing console being within easy reach of the keys so volume of different voices can be adjusted while playing. The memory functions are easy to use and they are also located in easy reach of the keys. The range of sounds that come preloaded is pretty good.

I wish the premium packs were less expensive but the option to expand the sounds is still a great feature. I haven't done much yet with editing the sounds but have tried enough to see it isn't difficult. I have yet to try the direct internet connection but I did install the memory expansion and it was very easy. The speakers that came in the bundle I bought are great for home use. They did not cut it in a small auditorium but I did not expect them to. The tilt screen is a very nice feature. The stand that came in the bundle is rock solid and the bench is comfortable for hours of practice.

The only item in the bundle that I don't like is the case. It is longer than needed for this keyboard and very heavy but it does provide excellent protection. Overall I feel like I got my money's worth for the bundle and am totally satisfied with the keyboard. I am satisfied with the additional voices when compared to the Tyros3. Monster Trux Offroad Pc there. I already purchased the Tyros3 a couple years ago and this Tyros4 has many additional voices.

Download here the original Tyros styles from all the Tyros models. Additional Styles for the Tyros 4. Styles in the Tyros4 continue the SFF 2 format that started with the Tyros3. The Tyros4 should be able to play any of the styles. Create Song Styles; Keyboard Styles; Yamaha; Tyros 4 Styles; Members 0 Members and 1 Guest are viewing this board.

Not an earth shattering improvement over the older Tyros3 however I am satisfied with the additional simulated human vocal sounds. Only negative is that they dropped the stereo mic input option and replaced it with a mono-only input. As a result, I am unable to use my $700 voicelive2 (by TC Helicon) unless I use the line input, however the line input cannot be controlled by the keyboard microphone features. That seems like a poorly thought out feature reduction modification. Hope they restore the stereo microphone input feature in the next version. There are many other less important positives and negatives however this is a review, not a book. Hope this was informative.

If you can afford it,,, go for the tyros 4 I have owned all 4 tyros keyboards. This is by far the best. If you do much editing the processor is much faster and the screens pop up almost instantly, including the save functions. Sounds are improved, vocal harmony is vastly improved. It boots up with no waiting for added sounds to load with the new flash memory.

The after-touch finally works the way it should, After you strike the key you can push harder at any time and it will respond. Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 Psp Game there. Before you had to release all preasure and try to get the after touch to work. The music finder will now display all your midi files as well as mp3 files.big step.

I just wish it had more routing options for outputs such as vocal harmony, Mp3, and Mic. GREAT KEYBOARD. This an amazing keyboard and worth every penny if you shop carefully. I have been wanting this keyboard since it was announced. This will likely be the last keyboard I buy as long as it keeps working.

The sounds are fantastic, the style choice is vast and the ability vary presets while playing is unparalleled. The computer compatibility is excellent and the added Internet capable functions are very useful. Everything feels solid and sound thru the available subwoofer and speakers is very good.

If I were to have one fault with the Tyros 4, it would be the overkill of styles that seem to be more aimed at European venues or Old Folks homes. How many polka styles do you need? This not just a situation with Yamaha but most other arranger keyboards like Roland, Korg and others. I would think that rom chips could be selective to the country you are selling in.

All things considered, this a great keyboard for either home or 1 man club use. If you are limited skilled player, you will sound 10 times better. If you are skilled player you will be hard pressed to get the smile off your face everytime you sit down to play.
