I am in a state that requires a front plate, but I will do the same thing I did with my G35. I went w/o the front plate for a little over 2 years, until I was stopped for speeding. The first thing he checked was the front plate and added that ticket (He actually missed that my 2 yr inspection sticker expired and I didn't even notice it for a couple more months). It was nice not having a front plate but I always worried about being stopped. Now that it is on the car the appearance really does not bother me as much as I thought it would and I drive with more peace of mind.
