The working hours can vary from position to position. However, from a driving stand point, our drivers are on the road every day, as their hours permit them. Hours of driving may vary as well depending on the schedule that the two co-drivers commit to. Some drivers prefer to drive certain shifts and will plan their week accordingly. When a driver starts with the organization the home time schedule is altered slightly due to the length of school, orientation, and training. CRST understands the commitment to driving is a life changing event so we offer an additional day of home time upon the first trip home. Once hired, trained and on the road, our home time policy has the driver out on the road for a period of 3-4 weeks, then home for 3-4 days.

This cycle will continue to repeat itself after that. Answered by CRST Expedited July 7, 2016.

:I am a fairly new driver. I work for crst dedicated. I run from atlanta to illinois. I am definetly not making anything close to what they said i was gonna make and I'm having lots of problems with my dispatcer. He tries to give us no home time when it clearly says on they're website that we're supposed to be home weekly and that is also what I agreed to when I signed up. He sends us places we're not supposed to go.

Dosn't dedicated mean from just one business to the other? Just about every time I pick up a trailer its messed up and has some kind of issue that has to be fixed delaying me which is one reason I dont make as much. Me and my co driver say crst stands for crappy ****ty rusted trailer lol. Does anyone work for crst dedicated and have these same problems? Or does anyone have any advice on how I can handle these problems? Re: does anyone know about crst deicated?

I'm not having a good experience with them. 'dedicated' might mean you are dedicated to one customer, whereever they have loads going. Not necessarily that you have a dedicated lane. However, if they promised home weekends, to 2 days per week, or whatever, and aren't living up to it, then go above your dispatchers head. Junk trailers? Well, I think youre stuck.

If it's a taillight, learn to change it. A marker light? Wickenburg Community Action Program. Don't be a helpless moron. By the way, welcome to the forum. It has many sections. I'm sure CRST has one.

Please look around before you post. This is as nice as I get. Re: does anyone know about crst deicated? I'm not having a good experience with them. When I was a mechanic, the last year or two of my career I worked for some real looser outfits, and one was a road repair place. I would say 90% of the service calls I had was CRST. I started calling them Crusty, and still do today.

They have the crappiest pieces of **** I have ever seen on the road. Some of their rigs look like they have never been washed. If it were me I would be looking for another company to drive for. And like Sinister says, 'dedicated' does not mean the same lane to the same pick up and drop off points every time.

Dedicated means you are assigned to run for a certain customer, wherever and whenever they have loads. And if you were promised a certain amount of time off every so many days IN WRITING, take them to task on it.
